Caminos de Andalucía

This guide, entitled Roads of Andalusia: A Brief Overview of the Legal Framework Governing Public Roads, aims to assist municipalities and provincial councils in examining the procedures for identifying the public assets represented by roads and paths, understanding the regulations governing their registration, the various uses that take place on them, and, in general, the basic applicable legislation. Its purpose is to provide, in a concise and accessible manner, the knowledge required for public administrations and policymakers to properly manage and make use of road infrastructure assets in their various functions, offering forward-looking, publicly beneficial insights to improve their governance. This guide stems from a research project funded by the Andalusian Plan for Research, Development and Innovation of the Regional Ministry of University, Research and Innovation of the Regional Government of Andalusia, carried out at the University of Córdoba, under the title Heritage and Tourism Resources Linked to Hiking, Cycle Tourism and Recreation in Andalusia: Sources of Rural Development and Keys to Their Planning (Ref. PROYEXCEL_00477).
