CREATING THE HABIT OF READING - Heroic stories in juvenile literature - Support materials to create the habit of reading in the students of Secondary Education, with the novelty of approaching this task from the heroic stories of contemporary works, so attractive for adolescents and young as The Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter series and The endless story. From them, the young readers can connect with other classic heroic stories: My Cid, Lazarillo, Don Quijote, etc. The origin and development of this literary style are analysed and they offer methodological approaches, guides for the reading and Didactic Units on the stories, as a base for value education.
