STORIES THAT TEACH HOW TO LIVE - Fantasies and emotions through words - Authors of books, convinced of the value of words as a tool to arrive at the emotional world of children, develop some narrative proposals which take into account both the problems of children and their different psycho-evolutive levels, grading for them in each narration, themes, emotions, values and strategies. Taking off from their own experience as educators, They choose stories as a pedagogical resource because it awakens in children curiousity, motivates learning, stimulates imagination and permits understanding one’s own feelings and those of others. In the same way, the story helps to identify with persons, and to let lose fantasy and creativity. The themes of the stories reflect different cultural environments, making it possible that the children know and compare other cultures with their own. For each story there are suggestions for the narrator, the most appropriate environment and follow up activities.
