El Hospital del Cardenal Salazar: 300 años entre la salud y la enseñanza

This text has sought only to pay a modest tribute to the existence of a three-hundred-year-old building that has continuously served the city of Córdoba—first in the medical and healthcare fields, and later, up to the present day, in education—right in the heart of its historic center, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Aiming above all to promote scientific dissemination and outreach, the main value of this contribution lies in presenting, through its Critical Edition, a selection of noteworthy documents concerning the founder, the institution he established, and its medical dimension, which was its most enduring function. These are preceded by introductory studies designed to facilitate understanding.
