THE PARADIGM OF CONTINUOUS EDUCATION In the present society, globalization influences the world market and the teaching-learning processes. Social exclusion or poverty show the need for a life long education as an investment in human resources as a principal asset for the economy and the social inclusion of the citizens. In the global context of education as a process of formation through life, we must assume and integrate related things to formal educational contexts as well as to the non formal and informal, as precisely, the schools and the institutions have ceased to be the only place where professionals acquire and perfect their knowledge. It is necessary to create spaces of permanent formation to capacitate citizens by means of a new literacy that guarantees the adaptation to different economic, labour, social, communication and digital changes, without forgetting values and universal rights.
