Gerontología educativa y social. Pedagogía social y personas mayores

This book describes the state of educational gerontology in Spain. (This designation is preferred to other more specific and euphemistic ones like “elder persons”, “third age”, etc.) This work has no pretension to totality and comprehensiveness, it only intends to give a quick overview of the issue in Spain, pointing to tendencies and fields of interest etc. of the university professors concerned with the problem. The Spanish authors who hitherto have dedicated most attention to the issue delineate five major areas or topics of interest for research and discussion. The structure of this book also follows these five topics.
