Julia Beltrán Escrig. L'educació com eina per a millorar el món

Julia Beltrán Escrig always defended a pedagogy based on respect, dignity and autonomy of the person, equal opportunities and the social responsibility of teachers. This work, deliberately plural, collects contributions of an academic nature, autobiographical stories, testimonies of students... and is completed with texts by the honoree herself, which show part of her research in the fields of theory and history of education. The centrality of the student, the value of play, the integral training of the teacher or the connection between theory and practice are part of Julia Beltrán's legacy, and do not belong only to the past, but continue to offer useful keys to rethink current teacher training.
