Sinopsis
Spanish poet born in Santianes de Pravia, Asturias in 1950. Graduated in Romance Philology and Philosophy, she co-directs the journal Los Infolios, is director of the Cervantes Institute in Toulouse, and is a member of the editorial board of El signo del gorrión, created in 1992. She has been awarded several literary prizes, has published critical articles in various journals and translated La religion de mi tiempo by Pier Paolo Pasolini. Her poems have been translated into French, English and German and have been included in major anthologies. The French magazine Noir et Blanche and the British magazine Agenda both have dedicated a monographic issue to her. In 1990 she won the Ícaro Prize for Literature for her Exposición, in 1993 the Leonor Prize for Poetry for her Ella, los pájaros and in 2007 the National Poetry Prize for her Y todos estábamos vivos. She is also the author of the books of poetry El tercer jardín, 1986, Caaz nocturna, 1997, Del ojo al hueso, 2001. Her poetry is collected in Esa polilla que detrás de mi revolotea.
