Sinopsis
Vicente Valero (Ibiza, 1963), poet and essayist. Author of the volumes of poetry Jardín de la noche (1987), Herencia y fábula (1989), Teoría solar (1992), Vigilia en Cabo Sur (1999), Libro de los trazados (2005) and Días del bosque, awarded with the Loewe Foundation International Prize (2007). His poems are included in some of the most important anthologies of contemporary Spanish poetry and they have been translated into several languages. He is also the author of the book of essays Experiencia y pobreza. Walter Benjamin en Ibiza, 1932-1933 (2001), which has been translated into French and German, as well as of the Viajeros contemporáneos (2004), published at the same editorial (Colección Cosmópolis). Collaborates in various literary publications such as the supplement Cultura(s) of the daily La Vanguardia, and has published essays on contemporary artists for various museums and galleries, including the Instituto Valenciano de Arte Moderno (IVAM).
