La poética del folletín focuses on the main features of the serial novel and its evolution from its appearance in 1836 until its decline in the first decades of the twentieth century. It addresses both the technical resources and the ideological aspects of the genre of feuilleton, and especially focuses on the analysis of a new editorial model in which editor and reader are key pieces.
