The United States army launches a large-scale attack on Venezuela, bombing several strategic buildings, killing nearly a hundred Venezuelan civilians and military personnel, and kidnapping President Nicolás Maduro and his wife Cilia Flores, whom they transfer to a prison in New York. The assault, beyond confirming the worst threats of the previous months, opens a breach in the world order and leads to an uncertain scenario in Venezuela.
