Sinopsis
Ángel González Muñiz (Oviedo, September 6, 1925 - Madrid, January 12, 2008). His work is a blend of intimacy and social poetry with a particular and characteristic touch of irony. He writes about everyday affairs in a colloquial and urban tone, which never turns into populist or parochial. The passage of time and the themes of love and the city are the three obsessions that recur throughout his poems, with a melancholic, but often also optimistic tone. His language is always pure, accessible and transparent. His poetry is based on a strong ethic of human brotherhood ranging between solidarity and freedom, like in other poets of his generation.
