This textbook covers the practical part of the Macroeconomics I course. Its first section introduces the IS-LM model, which analyses the demand side in closed economies. The second section extends the analysis of the demand side in open economies through an IS-LM-BP model. The third section introduces two alternative versions of the supply side in closed economies: the New Classic Macroeconomics model and the New Keynesian Macroeconomics model. The new feature of this publication is that the solutions are commented on in detail to make it easier for students to understand. This publication pursues a twofold objective: firstly, to take advantage of the little time devoted to practical exercises and secondly, to encourage students to take a more active and participative attitude during the process of assimilating the concepts explained in class.
